Kaelyn Rebecca Mohr gained her angels wings on July 11, 2024, slipping away peacefully at her home in Conklin surrounded by her loving family and friends. Kaelyn was a lifelong warrior of Rett Syndrome, but there was never a day that she neglected to brighten the world with her infectious smile.

Kaelyn is predeceased by; her maternal grandparents, Brenda (Bill) Tracy, William Gould; and her "Aunt Chrissy", Christine Mohr.  She is survived by; her mother and step-father, Tami and Phil Leary; her father, Richard Mohr (Lynne Arthur); her sister, Karrissa (Tim) Shafer; paternal grandmother, Barbara Comfort; paternal grandfather, Richard Mohr (Mary Curtis-Mohr); maternal grandmother, Connie Gould; several aunts and uncles; Tiffany Tracy (Jason), Tara Tracy, Amy Mohr, Barbara Mohr-Kingsley, John (Cathy) Leary, Troy Leary and William (Terry) Gould, and cousins Alecia, Marty, Amber, BJ, Dillon and Connor.

The family would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to Kaelyn's caregivers and best friends Maegan Dietrich, Sierra Brown and Mercedez Fuimo, who have gone above and beyond for our little girl over the past few years.

Kaelyn radiated joy and happiness and showed so much love to her friends, family and her dogs. She enjoyed swinging in her in-door hammock swing, car rides, swimming and "tub time" where she was sure to splash anyone around her. She loved watching movies, especially her favorites "Scooby-Doo" and "The Little Mermaid". Kaelyn also loved camping, especially golf cart rides around the lake. She loved outings to parks and Animal Adventure with her sister and caregivers.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to Cherie and the entire Guthrie-Lourdes Hospice team as well as all of the staff at Springbook and the countless other special aides and nurses who have cared for Kaelyn throughout her lifetime.
