Sheila J Bowman, 85 of the Town of Binghamton our beloved mother passed quietly on April 2 into the waiting arms of her oldest son, Ken Bowman Jr., loving parents Floyd and Mildred Jones and her sister and brother in law, Jean and Ray Snyder. She had two great loves of her life whom predeceased her. Her husband Ken Bowman Sr., the father to her children, and Henry Gardner her partner of 43 years. She is survived by her daughter Susan (Greg) Sutton and son Thomas (Tammy) Bowman and grandchildren Keith Bowman, Andrew (Shaylynn) Sutton, Lucas Sutton, Marah Bowman, Alyssa Bowman and Gavin Bowman. Also survived by the Gardner family Sandy (Louis) Butts, grandsons Lou (Theresa) Butts and Christopher (Moira) Butts and five great grandchildren. Never one to want to sit still, mom dedicated her time at the First Ward Senior Center where she donated her time in the sewing and knitting rooms and in the kitchen. She also volunteered at monthly pie night at the Conklin Forks Church , Bounty dinners at Kirkwood Methodist and bowling twice a week with her fellow seniors.

Funeral service will be Sunday April 7, 2024, at 3:00pm at the DeMunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service 36 Conklin Avenue Binghamton, NY 13903. Family will receive friends from 2:00 until time of services. Burial will be a later date. To forward condolences, please visit www.demunn.com
