William G. (Bill) Decker, 91 years old, December 11, 1932 to April 10, 2024. Bill passed unexpectedly at Wilson Hospital. Bill was predeceased by; his parents, George and Sarah Brennan Decker; brothers, Robert (Anne) Decker, Louis (Ruth) Decker; sister, Nancy (Rodger) Forbes; sister-in-law, Shirley Decker; and Louise’s daughter, Linda Castner. Bill is survived by; his daughter, Laurie (Gary) Lasky; grand-daughters, Marley Yevchak, Kasey Lynn (Tom) Glovich, Cheyenne and Alyssa Lasky; his brother, Gerald Decker; his loving companion of 33 years, Louise Castner; as well as her children, David and Phyllis Castner, Christine and Felix Anderson, Sharon and Tom Collett; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bill retired from Systems Manufacturing in 1994 after 36 years of employment. Bill served in the Navy Reserves during the Korean War. Dad will be forever loved and missed, his sense of humor is his legacy.
A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11 am on Friday, April 19, 2024 at St. Paul’s Church in Binghamton. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the beginning of the service at the church.
